DORFTV — Watch Online

About the TV Channel DORFTV

DORFTV is an Austrian non-commercial regional television channel and community media platform based in Linz, primarily serving the federal state of Upper Austria. The channel began broadcasting on 22 June 2010 and became one of Austria's pioneering television stations operating according to the principles of community television and open access to broadcasting.

DORFTV's programming includes regional news, community and cultural programmes, interviews, discussions, reports, documentaries, music, arts and educational content. A significant part of the schedule focuses on events in Upper Austria, local organisations, cultural initiatives, social issues and topics that often receive limited coverage in traditional media.

DORFTV gives independent producers, community organisations and residents of the region the opportunity to create and broadcast their own television programmes. The channel promotes open access to media, media literacy, cultural diversity and civic participation. DORFTV operates on a non-commercial and independent basis and is available via digital terrestrial television, regional cable networks and online.
